Tevez is without doubt massive talent but like Sir Alex, this to me looks like some form of slavery. Why should an individual own another? Yes he might end up at Liverpool but don't disregard Man City as they seem to have a deeper kitty.

I think Alex Ferguson is reluctant to fill a businessman's pockets with £26 million. Tevez is an excellent player, and always gives his all for Manchester United, and if it was a case of buying him from another club then Fergie would probably happily pay out £26 million for Tevez. Due to the situation it's less straightforward though, and I think that it's a bit of a moral issue for Alex Ferguson as to whether or not to shell out the cash for Carlos Tevez when the money isn't going to be going to another football club.

I'd love to see Carlos Tevez stay at Manchester United, I really don't think it's going to happen though. It's a shame, because I think Tevez would like to stay at such a successful club, he does seem to have prepared himself to move on though, and I guess we just need to say goodbye to Carlos Tevez as a Manchester United player.
