Man City’s Wayne Bridge Offer is Accepted by Chelsea
A deal has been agreed with Chelsea, and Wayne Bridge is thought to have travelled to Manchester this evening to see about confirming personal terms with City. Chelsea has agreed to sell Bridge for an undisclosed fee, and all being well and good; Wayne Bridge will soon be a Manchester City player.
Wayne Bridge seemingly doesn’t figure in Scolari’s future plans for the club, and with Bridge not even the second choice left-back to Ashley Cole; it would seem that the player will have to move on if he has hopes of playing first team football.
Luiz Felipe Scolari may or may not last much longer at Chelsea, Manchester City want Wayne Bridge though, and if terms can be agreed then the move will happen.
So Wayne Bridge will probably soon be playing in a much lighter shade of blue, and is likely to soon swap London for Manchester as he heads north to play for what is now the richest football club in the world; Manchester City.
