Ferdinand Heading For White Hart Lane
41 year old former footballing striker Les Ferdinand is reportedly keen to talk with Tottenham about becoming a new coach for the club. Ferdinand played for Tottenham between the years of 1997 and 2003, during his playing days he also played for Queens Park Rangers and Newcastle United amongst others.
New Tottenham manager Harry Redknapp has shown an interest in bringing Ferdinand to the club’s coaching staff and it now seems quite likely that Les Ferdinand will soon be signing on as coach. Ferdinand’s playing career ended after the 2005/06 season which saw Watford promoted up to the Premier League; Ferdinand had failed to play a first team competitive game for the club and therefore saw it as the perfect time to retire from the playing game, just shy of his 40th birthday.
It is perceived by Harry Redknapp that Les Ferdinand would be the perfect addition to the coaching staff at White Hart Lane; he had a good history with the club as a player, and Redknapp is very keen to get the right staff in to Tottenham in an attempt to change the club’s fortunes. Tottenham currently sit dead bottom of the English Premier League with 5 points from 9 games and Harry Redknapp is now doing all he can to try and move the club on up the league.
Harry Redknapp has not been in charge of Tottenham for long, he’s already making quite a few changes there however and it looks as though Les Ferdinand could be the next to come join the former Portsmouth manager at White Hart Lane. If Les Ferdinand does make a return to Tottenham on the coaching staff when there’s no doubt whatsoever that he’ll be receiving a very warm welcome indeed.

Thanks for the information mate. Nice work!
